Indispensability Poem by Raymond Farrell

Indispensability

There is no such thing
As indispensability
When it comes
To human beings
But, if every insect
On the face of the earth
Disappeared tomorrow
Life on earth
Would soon end
And if, every human being
From the palace
To the gutter
Ceased to exist
Tomorrow
Every other form of life
On this planet
Would flourish
It's time we get
The facts straight
Before deciding
About who is
Really indispensable
If you can
Talk and do the multiplication table
You're not! ! !
