Infinite Tears Poem by Phil Soar

Infinite Tears

Infinite tears that touched her face
Longing for that lost embrace
And where there once was infinite faith
Her tears have washed the faith away

That innocent time when love first came
And the heart raced like a runaway train
Has travelled its course and been derailed
And the love boat she once moored, has sailed

And the infinite tears that left her eyes
Had only made her realise
That life's too short to suffer on
Now all her need to love has gone
