Innocent Before Guilty Poem by Darrick wiggins

Innocent Before Guilty

As I was walking down the pavement;
i see birds flying freely across the sky;
while I were wondering if the lord can save me;
before I can get a piece of the pie;
of what life subscribe to me;

Believing in myself to be free and independent;
ohh! ! ! What part of life I suppose to live to see;
is it to be guilty or innocent;
I want salvation, i want security;
to be a man of honor and integrity;

I shall overcome all adversities;
while blood traveling through my veins;
if I bleed I go insane;
i rather moisten the world like acid rain;
before my innocence be detained.
