Once upon a time
A probing gaze smoldered an icy blood to liquid fire.
A desire was ignited.
Shyness bid the blood, neither exchange words
Longing gaze prevailed, across the scattered crowd
A waiting of interminable, a year gone passed
Lingering affection dwelled, yet nothing had been done
Feelings fully churned, but nothing's the outcome
Memories twined its way through the alleyways of the past
How long since the heart has been starved
Time charred the desire to cinder
All that left was rubbles
The profound aching of the loss
An self-inflicting torment and turmoil
Vowed this would be the last
Only a fiery desire's confession of another
Shall bid the blood to run
And a desire is ignited.

This is a very good poem indeed because it has lyric and symbols mixed with passion universalising the pangs of women for love and security.
