Invisible Hurts Poem by David Harris

Invisible Hurts

Rating: 4.5

The constant threats of breaking up
and not so tender words.
The feeling of being cheated on
brings on those invisible hurts.
People ask me why I look so sad
whenever I’m with you,
but they don’t realise
the unkind things you say and do.
They think our relationship
is almost heaven sent,
but I wonder if they realise
all those hurting thing you say
are really meant.
