Invisible Maps

Darling, my soles are worn
And I can't go further
Baby my jeans are torn
Can you kiss it better?

Keep pulling my threads
And I'll be nothing again
Keep taking my hand
I'm back to where I began

Honey, are the bridges burnt?
We'll swim across this ocean
Sweetie we can live and learn
Just whisper where and when

When roads get tough
They'll be singing about us
Save your bread crumbs
We'll find our own way out

Poet's Notes about The Poem

This goes out to a very special somebody back in Canada. I've had some tough times in my travels and no matter where I am he makes me smile.
