Invitation Poem by Marilyn Jean

Invitation

It would come in a letter
Then sit in your letter box
Letters inside would read
Come to ours on Xmas day
Would you like this idea?
Don't think I am silly
You would choose to come
Alone or in company
There would be tea
Chocolate and chat
Gift this to me
For Xmas present
I would have to
You visiting
Announce it
But fine
I can
