Involuntary Confinement Poem by Timothy minchew

Involuntary Confinement

Rating: 5.0

It's not like i ever had a choice,
Or that i picked to be this way.
I keep myself in solitude,
to save myself the pain.

It works for me, but sucks for you,
Cause we never keep in touch.
But you got all your friends and kin.
So i don't matter much.

Don't you think i didn't try,
Or put forth nothing but my best.
It doesn't matter what i do, How hard i work,
I'll never fit with all the rest.

So instead I'll smoke my weed
And pop these little pills.
Cause it seems that i was skipped in line,
When god handed out the social skills
