Oft questioning life's winding walk
Widening ignorant eyes
Sometimes to think, somewhere to talk
Of truths of man's demise
What happens at one's final breath
What secrets lie ahead?
Beyond the short highway to death
When one's own self lies dead
Should we struggle, should one contend
Even shed a tear
Could death be not, one's silent friend?
An instant to adhere
Man can escape, death's beckoning grave
Gain eyes through faith to see
Jesus Christ came man's soul to save
Through death upon a tree
Yet after three days arising
Casting death's chains aside
No more life's facts disguising
For truth no more to hide
Let wisdom life's statement unfold
True knowledge mount within
The reason a person grows cold
Is consequence of sin
We'll shake our heads, shake our fists
From youth till old and weary
Believing, doubting, God exists
Checking Darwin's theory
Who'll question sooner or later
If Jesus Christ is true
Pray The Lord as vindicator
Grant endless life anew.....
