For years and years
I begged the question
Was it the idea of being in love
Was it a better time
Was it the cling
Was it the dirtiness
The complete comfortability and openness
That I miss and love?
I kept asking over and over
Day after day
I found the answer
It was not any of that even though it was all grand
The answer that wasn't really planned
Was you.
Who you are to the core
Your personality
Everything you have that no one else ever can.
Things that cannot be written or described.
Things only the heart can see and the soul can feel.
It's you my dear.
You are the one I love.
