The walls closing in
The sanity disappearing from existence
The intelligence of those in charge dropping

His feelings shutting down
His social life being drawn back
His relationships fading

Her friends reprimanding
Her responses becoming full of attitude
Her life changing forever by her own hands

My closest friends leaving
My grades slipping
My self-control becoming zero

And yet we find happiness in the smallest moments
Our old selves coming up at the strangest times
We come together again
