Island Girl
I'm an island girl,
Living those island dreams,
Walking the sandy shores,
Hair so full flowing in the wind,
Sun rays hitting the skin,
Leaving foot prints in the sandy shore,
The wind moving me to dance,
A book in hand getting lost at sea,
The sand may brush off,
The salt may wash clean,
The tears may fade,
But the memories will last forever.
