in this world of shameless trade
in this world of overwhelming sadness
the banality
brutality
inequality
poverty,
the terror
faked security
and negotiable fidelity..

in this world of orchestrated attack
on human dignity
morality
integrity
honesty
sincerity
heart calls
individual freedoms
whole nation's freedom
indisputable human rights -
the core values..

in this world - to sustain living
just to survive - one becomes
a constant target, one
becomes continual object
of repression.. one
becomes consumed
by futile work
or less futile work,
big or small money
own property
unlucky family
pretended feelings
unfaithfull friends
seducing styles
faked democracy -
and false prosperity..

in such a world I choose to be
consumed by God's commons -
the feelings - truth and beauty -
and it happy union, on little
island - the Poetry.
