It Ended Faster Poem by Amy Stuart

It Ended Faster

If you don't care,
Then why should I?
My life is worthless.
My soul will suffer eternal damnation,
Damnation for things I've done,
And things yet to come.
Damnation...
Abomination...
Desolation...
My life will never amount to anything more.
No purpose.
Not anymore.
I've served it.
I saved them, and must now pass on myself.
Those I couldn't save...
Don't worry,
You're revenge will soon come.
What happens to is not important.
Never was,
Never will be.

I see it coming,
My end that is.
I see color...
Not many.
Only one.
When I see it now,
It thrills me,
Chills me to my bone.
Lets me know I'm still here...
If only on the surface.
No one knows me.
They never will.
I don't need them hurt too.
Being a shell casing...
It's not fun.
I know!
Lets play Russian Roulette...
You start...
Here's the gun.
What you don't know?
I have every bullet in there.
I won't survive.
Thank you.
Wait...
Where did everyone come from?
You were hiding in the darkness,
Waiting,
Hoping.
Hoping for the day when I'd be ready.
You all take aim.
You all fire.
It's not just one persons fault.
It's everyones...
I don't blame anyone.
I deserved it.
Yes, yes I did!

Though it started fast,
It ended faster...
