It Goes On
Bill Lindenmuth

Paint me picture
An image unknown
A vision created
To stand on it's own
Play me a melody
A song without sound
I'll sing in perfect harmony
As the music goes round
I will tell you a story
Leaving out the plot
And let you imagine
Of all that we've got
Shout out in protest
To stand on your own
The battle neverending
When you stand all alone
Never let regret
Stand in your way
For the path that lies before you
Is your challenge for this day
May your dreams be answered
With every new awakening
Lessons learned from within
And the chances worth taking
Paint me a picture
May the paint never fade
Let your colors shine on
And darken in shades
Life everlasting
With each waking day
A moment never wasted
Living on in that way
