The Princess is

It is what it is

When I love...I love with all my heart
it is so can tear the room apart
but when I hurt....I hurt with all my might
leaving everyone restless throughout the night
when I feel...I feel the textures in your mind
trying to open up your desires for me to find
and when I head hurts...
cause it spins with so many crazy hopes and thoughts
for I continue to have this dream I cannot have
it makes me so distraught
and where is the street I should turn
sitting quietly now...thinking of everything I learned
always going down a dead-end path
as my cries turn into a laugh

Wow...I love this! It reminds me of how anxiously my thoughts run when I meet someone I have a connection with! The way the poem shifts in speed of thought is a wonderful technique! The relateability is great! d(^-^) (Report) Reply
