In times of desperation
You always call His name
When you're in trouble
It's always the same

The only time you call on Him
Is when things go wrong
Because you know deep inside
You just are not that strong

You should try calling out His name
When waters around you are still
You'd be surprised cause in your heart
You will most definitely feel the thrill

The feeling will rush over you
Like that of hurricane's wind
Your body and soul will be cleansed
Washed free of all sins

Don't wait until trouble strikes
Keep Him always in your heart
Don't be afraid to let others see
That you need Him in a life falling apart

So don't just call on Him
Only when you are in pain
Always keep Him close to you
As you'll forever love the change

Once you open up your heart
To let Him deep inside
That's when you'll find salvation
That you'll never again want to hide
