It's so hard to forget someone who hasn't been yours
To go over the memories when there's really no
So hard to love a person who doesn't know you
And to wait for a love that she'll never do

I can only dream a perfect future for us
But those dreams are apparently hard to realize
'Cause you really aren't born for me
'Cause there's a person that's for you truly

It's so hard to just stare the person you love
knowing that she'll never love you back
It's so hard to dream for tomorrow alone
Which is done by lovers in common

The onliest thing for me to do is cry
But I'll never do 'cause I deserve to smile
Though you aren't the person for me to be with
And even without you, I still can live.
