It Was On A Fateful Day Poem by Abednego Oghenechovwiere Omashone

It Was On A Fateful Day

It was on a fateful day,
A day that changed all other days forever...

The day a group of men that seem not humans
Came afloat from beyond the great ocean
From whence no man had ever come.

They came in ways so alien
They came with ways so alien
They came for things so alien...

They toppled everything, wronging all rights
That a thousand age ain't enough
To undo that which 'sbeen undone.
