It Was Only Fascination Poem by poppy miller

It Was Only Fascination

Rating: 4.5

Morning zephyrs whispered with ease

Kissing the trees so tenderly

Whilst you and I made melodies

Then sighed so breathlessly

I know that it was only fascination

Not really love at all

But nature's potent intoxication

Which held us fast as I recall

And oh the memory and the thrill

Of tingling lips that walked on hips

Our senses danced with expert skill

Where nature's passion drips

Such fascination and liberation

So exhilarating still

Amongst that coaxing vegetation

To haunt my heart with such a thrill
