Its A Miracle Poem by Kevin Patrick

Its A Miracle

Rating: 5.0

When you get swept
under debt of kitchen sink troubles
remember to pull back the blinds
and try to ponder this

And think how amazing

you spend a lifetimes revolutions
confined to a pipsqueak stone
hurtling a thousand miles an hour
around an atomic maelstrom
Thats one of countless billions
within some backwater arm
of an insignificant galaxy
tumbling around oblivion
thats only a grain on a beach
of the universes shore

and when you reduce the whole universe
down to the infinitity of galaxies,
the trillions of star systems
and billions of planets
here down to
earth

Its a miracle your even here....
