Its What You Make It Poem by Rod Morris

Its What You Make It

Of all the places that I have been;

Of all the scenes that I have seen;

Of all the dreams I dare to dream;

I am the one who sets the theme.

Life’s lived to an unknown number;

Not aware how far to final slumber.

If you've made friends, family smile;

You're a winner of the golden mile.

Its time for you to take your rest,

Content that you gave of your best.

You leave behind those you've met,

You've lived a life without regret.

If you return once more to sing,

Good advice, don't change a thing.

What's to improve on times gone by?

Not an issue, why would you try?
