he was beside Prophet Muhammad
during the Conquest of Mecca

on Prophet’s authority
he narrated many of hadiths
he witnessed several of Prophet’s
miracles and episodes

his last days
were spent lecturing
a circle of students
at Prophet’s Mosque in Medina
