Jealousy Poem by Celene Bonin

Jealousy

Rating: 5.0

Jealousy is a curse
Nothing could be worse
Deep in your heart is where it must reside
Always threatening an undeserving suicide
The sudden surge of vague questions
On your mind they leave impressions
Second thoughts on second chances
As they coagulate feeling like lances
Piercing your every aspiration
Paying close consideration
To what your heart requests
Leaving only what it detests
No good can come from this
Turning your heart into a dark abyss
Leaving only a meek carcass
Bounded in pure darkness
