I woke up to a loud roar,
I saw deaths and no more.
I heard the shrilling cries of pain,
I helped in the futile tries of revival of dying lives.

Jehad and so they call it...
Jehad and so they blame it...

Where does the Quran point to this meaning of Jehad...

Jehad is the fight for truth.
Jehad is the war for justice.

Ironic isn't it?
In an Islamic state,
Islam stands endangered.
Paradoxaical isn't it?
In the name of Jehad,
They are killing Islam.
Attacking their own men...
Butchering their own ideals...

Why? For what?
To do what?
To achieve what?
Answer back,
Explain to us the true meaning of a true Jehad!

They say they do this for Islam.
Kill people at iftar,
After a hungry, thirsty day of Ramzan!
Killing our own brothers in the name of Jehad,
During the month of Allah!

Shame is all I feel on their behalf,
For tarnishing the holy name of Jehad.
This certainly isn't Jehad...

Then, What is it? What is it?
In the name of Jehad,
This is shrewd politics.
Stop it!
Why increase the pathos of people!
Why don't you just live and let live!

[ I am shocked after the blasts in Islamabad.I lost someone very dear to me in these blasts.My soul crumbles down as I mourn for that loved one and the other victims.I question what right do these 'jehadis' have to kill those who are innocent.We, Pakistanis have never seen peace in our country as such.Today I feel sad to see that India- our sister nation, is in a similar plight as we are.Lets hold hands in these difficult moments and walk together towards harmony.I call upon all my Pakistani and Indian brothers and sisters in this fight I as an individual wage against Islamic Terrorism.Lets stop them from propogating the ideals of Islam wrongly.And Inshallah soon the world will be free from these religious shackles.]
