Jesus Love Poem by Michael Walker

Jesus Love

The Christ I see in you, you see in me,
So may we see Him for eternity.
People are passing, to and fro.
'Where do they go? ' I want to know.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The title is a riff on Queen's song 'Mother Love, ' while the content refers to Origen's comment: 'Holiness is to see with the eyes of Christ.' Watching cars passing on the highway outside, I applied this theme in a Whitmanesque reflection.
