Jet Lag Poem by Lauren Coles

Jets run on fumes,
Jets need a break from time to time,
Parents are like jets chasing after their kids,
Kids need help with their homework and parents might be working two jobs to make ends meet,
Kids need to know that they are loved,
Parents can play a game with their kids,
They can read a book with their kids,
Parents can ask their kids how their day was when they got home from school,
If you want to be a parent you need to be more active in their lives.
