Jimmy Johnstone
The flags of Parkhead
Will be lowered today,
As a Celtic legend
Has been taken away.
Jimmy Johnstone's memories
Will be forever told,
Of his days in the hoops,
His courage, his goals,
Beside Jock Stein
Is were he will stand
Beside Doyle, Murdoch,
Peacock & Thompson,
For the Lord of the Wing,
We will pray for at night
Knowing heaven is adorned
In green & white.
