Joint Custody Poem by michael spangenberg

Joint Custody

Married with one child
The road towards Utopia
Unpleasant divorce, it happens
Walls substituting past bridges
Leaving parental enemies, two
Supposedly co-guardians, by-Law
Counsel meetings, agendas & minutes
Sole or joint custody, Hell no!
Winning offspring's minds & hearts
Thru demonizing one another
Child's wellbeing, the beloved one
Nowhere to be found, in sight
On none of caregiver's agendas.

Father Donald, mother Hillary
Not acting quite presidential during
The US Election pinnacle years
Heyday, November 8,2016.
