Joy And Glory Poem by Praveen Kumar in Celestial Glow

Joy And Glory

How hard you strive so sweet fruit gets,
How far you move so near target gets;
You strived very hard, and moved very far
While all seemed still, barren, all bound,
You fought like wizard, moved up and down,
Yet nothing looked near, stagnant all-round;
Wait, all betides, and lights up at right time -
On the anvil are days to flood you with rise,
And flush your soul with pure joy and glory.

Eyes on bright Sun, you moved East West East,
Days on, months, years, and life after life;
Lost and gained sight while focused on target,
Yet refused to stray focus from deep within;
What terrific challenge you took on yourself!
No focus ever fails, no struggle truly slips
In the tapestry of time that rewards patience;
Impatient in soul, yet patient till it counts,
You toppled tall walls to reach your home.

Long and scary war you fought all through
While no glimmer of hope lighted your soul;
Crocodiles pulled legs, smoke blinded your sight,
But you fought that war, flinched not an inch -
You fought for that light that sparkled your soul,
For that subtle seed sprouted you within you;
Hark, now is time that shows you in splendid you,
That sparkles in bright light your inner deep soul
To surface joy and glory you deserve so much.
