Just A Casual Thought Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Shift work or part-time work
for the previously unemployed,
'sharing' chores on Britain's shores
could bring happiness in many ways.
One of the joys ~
'more jobs for the boys'.
Even at management level...
two brains are better than one,
manual workers not so weary
discussing their problems
contented and cheery!
And oh the pleasure
of a little more leisure.
But it's only a casual thought...
Consider the rights and wrongs
For and against, pros and cons.
Without a doubt it's worth
thinking about.
