Someone call me up
And tell me this is all a dream
Tell me it isn’t me
Tell me this isn’t my life
Tell me it’s all just a dream
For months he was standing there
So strongly next to me
Until one day he called me up
And kissed my heart away
We flew away from each other
Until he flew back to me
He was no longer a boy
But a man in the military
In just two moons
He would be on his way to stand up tall
A rifle to his shoulder everyday
Someone call me up
And tell me this is all a dream
Tell me it isn’t me
Tell me it isn’t my life
Tell me it’s all just a dream
I shed a thousand tears
For the fear of loosing him
Even though he once kissed me goodbye
I’d never want him to die
It just to moons
He would be on his way to stand up tall
A rifle to his shoulder everyday
Leaving me here with a thousand tears
And everyday, for him, dreadful fear
Someone call me up
And tell me this is all a dream
Tell me it isn’t me
Tell me it isn’t my life
Tell me it’s all just a dream
Tell me it’s all just a dream
All just a dream
Just a dream
