Love was doom for me from the beginning,
When I can feel only the friend vibe that you’ve been sending.
If you could take a closer look and see that clearly,
There’s more than just a friend you see in me.
But I guess on my part that’s just wishful thinking,
As I sit on the side line, seeing u dating, my heart slowly sinking.
I know deep down I can treat you better,
But you won’t know until we’re together.
I can’t do anything differently to let you know how I feel,
Cuz I’ve watched everything pass us by which seems at times unreal.
We’ve been through so much,
I know how you feel with one simple touch.
When we hang out I can’t help but wonder why can’t we build a relationship,
Cuz in my heart and mind you’re the only girl I put before me and worship.
But for now all I am to you is just a friend,
At least you can count on this relationship never coming to an end.
