Just A Song Today Poem by Roger Snow

Just A Song Today

~~~ Song today ~~~~~
Scene, ,
MMmm where the water Falls
Moments alone
to find reasons why
To understand, , Trials
all on they're own, ,
Beauty, , of the trees
streams
run long to the Sea's
and in every breath
Nature's loving Breeze
Sittin' wonderin'
where the days have spent
can't find truth
in a Mind for Rent
can't be real to others
if your shadows bent
In every word
in every glance
you seek some solace
through momentary
Parlance, , of even shorter
moments in Romance, ,
Shallow of Mind
Shallow of Will
sink so low, , , until
you fade into the dirt
can't you be honest
what can it hurt
Mirror Mirror
Hung there on your Wall
can it speak your Truth
I don't know
and care less if, , at all
I tried be a Friend
maybe a lover
maybe a guide
whatever
it remains true
You couldn't come clean
and face me then, ,
out of the Blue, , accuse
I wished we could of been real
instead of beating our souls
black and blue, , ,
Who Knows
One day a Love will appear
come by
swoop me up
give rather than Take
wash out this fear
I know, , you say it's me
well then if that so true
why not just let me be
Blame is not mine
no more than you
your false airs
come so cheap
what child
did you expect
me to do, , ,
Turn the other Cheek
once again? ? ? ?
Mighty Fine wind to come
slip through my blind
and bring me sight
a little direction
would of been fine
and truth, yes, , it's only right, , ,
So the Lie you are
blacked out eyes
in a one way view
good bye child
this over done Man
is over and done, , ,
with you, , , ,
enough I've had
singing this old
blues Tune
enough of you
couldn't toss you off
none too soon, , ,
A mighty River flows
Takes this ship of Mine
away, , , into a calm
In the Moonlight
Freedom ahead Glows
I can see now, ,
all this time, ,
what I missed all along
Buried away, , ,
no more can it be
those feelings you caused
those you wished to harm
and torment me, , ,
Gone up in ashes
thick with flame
hell child even now
I can't recall
your damned name ~~~~~
