Just Another Kiss

dont kiss me agian
until your breath doesnt taste like smoke
cause i feel like im dying
and im about to choke

and you shirt smells
like a toxic drink
keep it up and
you will die the next time you blink

get a new hobby
or something
stop all this crap
and again start to sing

dont even try
to call me
cause a wasted soul
is all i see

not until
your sober again
then maybe
just maybe we can begin

so im lacing up my shoes
and im out the door
your not the same
now only a bore

as your cigarette is
burning out to a but
so is your life and
you so drunk all you say is 'what'

if anything how about
a quick shot of honesty
and please stop all this
please just do it for me

youre not doing
anything from yourself
so stop
and put the drink back on the shelf

i love you too much
to see you do this
but i guess it doesnt matter
cause im just another kiss

poet Alfred Lord Tennyson

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
