We're just friends
That's all we'll ever be
I don't think there's
Ever going to be a you and me

You think of me as a friend,
But I think of you so much more
You don't know that in my dreams
You're the only one I'm searching for

Whether it's early in the morning or late at night
My feelings for you seem to always grow

Grow each day and seems more right
Why did I let me heart unbend?
I feel like I have to put my feelings
To an end

I never thought I could be your friend
With the way I feel for you
I never thought it was possible to have
A dream come true

But I guess that dream
Has a long way to go
Because if we're just friends
There will be no room for love to grow
