Just us in the bed of the truck
with it by the lake and just our luck
the moon is full and the stars are out
just the two of us and not a doubt
we were counting the stars but lost count
for we got lost in each other's eyes
while looking up it the skies

with your head on my chest
while you listen to my heart at its best
while its put to the test
as we kiss
I cannot hardly miss
a moment of this
while my fist
rest and relax with care
to sweep through your soft hair
as I say I love you, without a care
if anybody dares
to not trust in us
I will not fuss

because I know your beautiful all the time
and that your always on my mind
knowing that your fine
is the thing that keeps me kind
of my fears and thoughts
and to know you love me lots
is a guarantee I can assure
without further more
I love you
and there will never be nothing I cannot do
to show you im true
and to show you I know
that your mine
is that you stay by my side
my love
me and you above
the world and sky
without you I will die
because you make me fly
