Just One Of Many Poem by Francis Duggan

Just One Of Many

For many years i have been a rhyming buff
Just one who has written a whole pile of stuff
I am not one of those to the literary fore
Rhyming is something i love doing and little else more
Though many may refer to themselves as a playwright or novelist or poet
There are not many writers of literary note
Though many not willing your praises to sing
Suppose confidence on self can be quite a good thing
Not everyone can become famous and great
And beauty on paper with their words create
The numbers of amateur writers have grown
And to make a fortune out of writing so few have been known
As for me for many years i have been a rhyming buff
Just one of many who has penned heaps of stuff.
