Just One Tear Poem by Heather Owens

Just One Tear

Rating: 4.0

My mind cries out in agony,
but my eyes won’t shed a tear.
My heart cries, My soul cries,
But my eyes, they won’t.
Mentally and Physical hurt,
but my tears have deserted me,
I feel them behind my eyes,
sobbing for me,
but my pain stays with me,
praying for release.
Come tears,
and shed my pain.
release me from
my self-made prison.
Please, I beg of thee,
I Need to get past this,
to move on,
to forget.
But these unshed tears,
shall always remind me,
and hurt me,
and hinder
My Happiness.

Veru nice Heather! You'll find this writing quite therapeutic and helps the healing when nothing else will do the job! ~SO read other poets and find the 'diamonds' in their work. Many pieces appear tedious and then BAM one poem just reaches your soul and you connect! ! i enjoyed this above all the others i read today, thank you ~beau golden (my real name)
