Just Tell Me So Poem by Ray Hansell

Just Tell Me So

I wasn't going to write
Anything tonight
But than I got to thinking
That would not be right

You say you like to read
My poems in the morning
Even if they're dull
And they start you to yawning

I know sometimes I write too much
With nothing really to say
It's all right to tell me
Then, I'll just go away

I don't want to put you to sleep
After you just got out of bed
I don't want you to read my poems
Than sit there and shake your head

If you find them boring
You can tell so
I'll turn off my computer
No one will ever know

But, if you still want my poems
To keep coming your way
Please just tell me so
Than that's how I'll start your day
