Kentucky Lucky? Poem by Macy (Nina) Dvirnak

Kentucky Lucky?

There once was a man,
Come from Kentucky,
Who was the luckiest of the lucky.
He paraded the street, as if he were elite-
He fell and got his tucks mucky.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is just common sense-

If we walk around with our nose in the air,
Acting as if we were better than anyone else,
We aren't paying attention to our own faults.
And if we aren't watching where we are going,
We are bound to fall!

PRIDE COMES BEFORE A FALL.
