Kick Me Down. Poem by Cheyanne Hardy

Kick Me Down.

You took me in only to kick me down.
You took my innocence.
You took what made me, me.
You say I’m just like her.
But is that really true?
You say I’m going to grow,
To be just like her.
Crazy.
Unstable.
Unhappy.
She’s saine.
She’s stable.
She’s happy.
Are you jealous of her?
You want me to be the her she never could be.
But I cant be that either.
I’m me.
I’m my own person.
I cant be what you want me to be.
That’s not who I am
I’m not sorry.
I’m happy.
