Kill And Live Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Kill And Live

Kill and Live

Wrote my will, folded it,
Enveloped and sealed it:
"Dispatcher, hold on this,
In case I do not return! "

Said before quarantine.

We were two air-planes
Ready for the order:
"Drop bombs Basra."

Our smart Load-masters
Fastened bombs on pallets
Instead of cargo,
One by one, like sardine.

One plane went over
Bakhtegan, dried lake,
Flew at thousand feet
As did for para-dropping.

The salty lake's floor
Became the talk powder.

We waited for permit
From the Khomeini.

In vain went our two days
Also, the bombs tested.

"We fight with an army,
Not the old, kids and sick,
Ignore that idea…"
Said commander in chief.

I heard of his order:
"Kill all the prisoners."

I say what I witnessed,
Though is spit in air,
Let be pro and against.

Both talk of Hiroshima
"Inhumane, " "Permitted! "

Some believe human
Must behave, forever,
As is vase of goodness.

Such people defend a
Person who resented
To kill two baby bears.

Looking in cute eyes
Of Jordan, Athena
Hiding right behind rock,
Frightened, in them light,
Feel anvil, beats my heart.

They could have been rotten
After shot with bullets
Of Bryce Casavant.

He was an officer
With a gun and bullets
And order to kill them,
Flatly rejected…

"Kill and live, " is the law,
Therefore, he lost his job.

The two cubs were released
In jungles, where they live…

When reading of bear cubs
Basra time came to mind
And the ones that could die
With blast of our bombs,
If order took place…

Soon will head for B. C.
To meet bears, hopefully,
And pray to see those
Small cubs, now big bears.
