Kim Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Kim

Kim

Kim who is Kimberly
Had joined in a party
Dressed red so lovely
Her skirt above knee
She sure was so sexy
On her chest a hardy
Bra and cleavage icy

She drank; got drunk
She cried then talked

“He dumped me”

It was talk of Michael
(Young colleague)

“After I risked my life’
Kim cried.
“This dress is for him,
Crazy-stupid must see
That he lost Aphrodite”

And drunk lock of tongue
Had been lost in the pond
Never found...

So she talked:
“In night robe from bed
I got out; to husband and
Children I told lie...”

Broken she went on:
“I told him I was going
‘To neighbors’ but in car
With Michael I made love’

Now Michael had dumped her
Shattered she sought judgment.
