Kiss It Good Bye Poem by Matt Greenblatt

Kiss It Good Bye

Burn my love like flash paper
And kiss it good bye
It's the wooden box
And the eulogy for you
My quiet friend
The flowing robe
Obituary notices and
The earth-shifting monument
Ill ended a life of subtlety
Burried in a mound of pomp, excess
And mediocrity
