I'll be back in the morning
To watch the sun glisten off
Of the ring of your eye.
As beautiful as it is.
I cannot go to any store and buy you one
As beautiful as the one you already possess.
Instead I kneel in front of you
& tell you just how much of an impact
You've made in my life.
I've never seen anything as bright as you.
Never felt anything as warm.
I don't know what bored is around you,
There is no such thing as tired.
Your hair the flower bearer walking down
The aisle of a place we've decided as home.
Flying left then right.
Soon it is night & I cannot wait
To return in the morning to watch the light
Shine off of yours eyes.
My soul dances at the sight of you,
Free spirted without a care in the world.
It's hard to see myself anywhere else
Than here.
Here in the home of your heart
Here to be the first thing I see
When I open my eyes.
Here the rest of my life
