Kuchinda College Kuchinda
Knowledge we shall gain having sure trust,
Reading in college we too learn truth must.
Kuchinda College is in lovely Kuchinda town,
We feel, pretty princess wears knowledge gown.
Down towards Bonai-Kusumi Road when we do go,
For visiting college our inner zeal does grow.
Nineteen seventy one has become the long past,
In two thousand eighteen we do move very fast.
Last memory calls us, the last memory sings,
When we revisit, we really find new, new things.
Kharla River flows and also Bhaden River flows,
Mukundi stadium stands and middle light glows.
Hanging Bridge over Kharla River is iron bridge,
In each boundary wall we see twisted iron ridge.
Saida Bridge on Bhaden River is made up of brick,
Both the old bridges talk about college day trick.
Pick up dear students the main point of learning,
Knowledge will empower you giving way of earning.
Turning towards new time we remember old days,
Gazing upon maize field pure tribute time pays.
Our college! Poets across the globe you know,
Oh dear wind of knowledge, near us you blow.
First day of our college time we remember today,
With care, love and affection tribute we do pay.
Ray of light we see knowledge gives us power,
Admitting into college we climb up to top tower.
For bright future of students we pray before God,
Long live dear Kuchinda College, before God we nod.

A fine tribute to your Alma Mater, Kuchinda College.The images are so vivid in your poem.The Karla river, the Bhaden river, Mukundi stadium, the iron bridge over Karla river and Saida bridge on Bhaden river are remembered with much love and endearment as they were pathway to your seat of knowledge. My father had been posted as an D.S.P. in Sambalpur town for one year.I had visited Sambalpur at that time.But never gone to Kuchinda.
