Lady Of Grace Poem by Arnie Hicks

Lady Of Grace

Rating: 5.0

radiant lady of mystery, all is as it should be -
I am your enigma, as you are mine;
lucky be divinity's angels to embrace you as their own.

with every scintillating touch and every sultry glance,
you are the lightening strike that transcends the boundaries of heaven and earth,
leaving me ravenous and wanting more...

let me - I'll be the air that you breath;
have me - I'll be the need that satisfies;
and you (my so-much-more) ,
shall be the very soul of me, the heart and raison d'etre of me...

let my arms be your safe haven,
my lips the fire to fuel your passion;
together our hunger will devour the moon, the stars and so much more -
in you I find the answer to my every prayer and the emancipation of my every desire.

none ever shall come before thee,
nor would I place another above thee;
side by side and hand in hand,
ours will be the love to make gods sigh and beg privy to a longing beyond their comprehension -
to hopelessly covet what only mortal flesh can truly capture and realize -
the release of pure and pious ecstasy in the heat of a lover's warmth.

you, my incandescent queen, are both the grace and contradiction of fleshly ascension -
the tie that binds, the velvet and lace to my leather and denim...
with infinite care, slowly and meticulously,
i would - greedily - breathlessly - peel away the wondrous layers and lust of you,
the all consuming hunger and ecstasy of you -
to bathe in the charm and majesty of my proud and uncompromising angel.
