Last Stand Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Last Stand

Last stand

"Last stand…"
-grabs me by the neck
-like the toes and the legs
-which I read in poem
- "Happy Negro Hugging Flag".

Is painting in time of
- "US's Washington."

"Last stand…"
-dangles and dingles as
-it is some pendulum…

Want to go and join them
-die with them in Arctic.

That is where
-the "Wildlife"
-is making last stand.
