[last Turn] Poem by Frozen Beauty

[last Turn]

Rating: 5.0

she speeds home to apologize;
she didn't mean what she said.
tears welling up in her eyes,
she clutches the note to her chest.

she loves him and he must know,
she's racing fast to prove it again.
all the while he's calling her phone,
attempting to make ammends.

as she takes the last turn,
her car starts to roll.
and with his growing concern,
he loses all self-control.

he runs out the front door,
as he hears tires squeal.
she's hardly moving anymore;
her face smashed in the wheel.

she gives him the note
and a tear from her eye;
he says 'I love you'
and kisses her goodbye.

Such a sad and tragic ending. This is why we should always choose our words wisely, you never know when you may not be able to make amends. This is such a beautiful write about true love, and the tragidies that can change it all in a flash. 'Again, very nice write' 'Keep on inking the Pages' Poison.
